The Finch Landing Community Association's elected Board of Directors mission is to ensure Members covenant compliance, maintain Association property, preserve community property values, be good stewards of Association funds and protect members from liabilities as well as excessive dues assessments caused by wasteful and frivolous spending.
The Finch Landing Community Association is a Georgia Corporation that is annually registered with the Georgia Secretary of State. With the exception of Phase One of the development, membership is mandatory for all property owners in Finch Landing. An elected five member Board of Directors manages the Corporation. Elections are held annually and Directors are elected to a two year term with two Directors positions open one year and three positions the next year.
All members of the Association are bound by the Covenants and the Association operates under Corporation By-Laws. These documents are posted on our Covenants page.
The Board of Directors holds open meetings where it solicits and values input from Members, provides every Member with a complete, detailed accounting of all expenditures and maintains open books where any Member at any time can inspect the Associations books. The Board also believes it has achieved the proper balance between ensuring a community-wide standard is maintained by all Members while allowing every Member to live unbothered by an Association that would otherwise meddle in its Members lives.
